Curtain up: Artists to perform around capital in November

Local theatre artists and 60 troupes of professional, amateur and guest artists from overseas will take stage at Bangkok Theatre Festival.

Taking place in Santichaiprakarn Park and the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre for two weeks next month, performances will include traditional Thai performing arts, folk theatre, drama, contemporary theatre, pantomime, dance, likay folk dance, as well as physical, musical and experimental theatre. Performances for families and children will also be staged, along with workshops and seminars.

The event starts in the park on Nov. 1 and 2, and at BACC from Nov. 4 through Nov. 16 and other theatre spaces.
