A love of grisly scares, unrestrained parties and sexy fashion are a trifecta making Bangkok the best place to Halloween. Here’s a list of parties and clubs with something for everyone to fulfill their Halloween desires Friday night.

Maggie Choo’s Victorian Vampire

Keithen Carter will take the mic for a live, soulful music to be chased down by DJ sets afterward.  The fantasy underground watering hole is offering special bottles for the best costumes.

Halloween Party at Ku De Ta 

Probably one of the few parties that’s free this Halloween, so long as you come dressed up as a ghost. With its hall lightened with candles and walls draped with cobwebs, Ku De ta is prepared for possession by its most haunting night of the year. Secret prize goes to the best-dressed guest.

The Walking Drunk 

The Spoiled Rotten gang are rolling out two live bands and two DJs for a night of retro hits and disco at the Wine Bibber disco. Again, an unspecified prize will be bestowed upon he or show deemed most Halloween-irrific.Free, 8pm – 2am, Wine Bibber Sangria, Soi Ekkamai 2, BTS Ekkamai

 

Oskar’s Halloween Steam Punk Saloon

 

Perchance you’ve obtained some vintage relics from your nearest haberdashery and fancy an evening in a haunted saloon? ‘Tis guaranteed to replete with “Jules Verne shit,” indeed. If so, head to Oskar Bistro, where you can join a crew of professionally made-up characters including “Indians, cowboys and  Victorian dandies.” There will be tequila, photo shoots and four DJs behind the deck.

Illumination: Become the Light with James Dymond

 

James Dymond of Armada comes to Afternoon@71 for a glow-in-the-dark Halloween party. Dymond is a London-based DJ known for mood- and pulse-raising trance uplifting trance that raises mood and pulses reportedly endorsed by Armin Van Buuren. Secret prize for the most Halloween-y costume.
