A concert film of Icelandic singer-artist Björk, inspired by the relationship between musical structures and natural phenomena, will show Saturday at the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre.
“Biophilia Live” will be the first time a film is screened publicly on the front facade of the BACC’s building for a cool, open-air screening.
Worth noting: There will also be an edible landscape installation created by renowned artist Pinaree Sanpitak to round out the evening’s sensory experience.
Before the outdoor screening, you can get in the mood with “When Björk Met David Attenborough,” a documentary screening at 5:30pm on the fifth floor auditorium. The film is in English with Thai Subtitles.
While we’re here talking about Björk, does anyone remember the pint-size popstar went utterly ballistic on a Bangkok reporter for welcoming her to Bangkok? Epic win or epic fail; we’re still not undecided.
