Finding Dory: Thai man happily catches fish on Lat Phrao Road during flood (VIDEO)

As nature unleashed a storm on Bangkok yesterday, this guy used the flood situation in Lat Phrao to his advantage and caught some fish.

Following a downpour, Bangkok was underwater yesterday morning. Traffic was paralyzed. People struggled to get to work and their cars broke down in the middle of the road. But this guy was just having too much fun in the flood.

This unidentified, happy Thai man was filmed catching fish with a net as the water level turned Lat Phrao Road into a large pond for fishes to swim in. He happily showed off his catches to Channel 8 News’ camera as the rest of us sat nearby, miserable in the traffic.

In the video, it looks like he caught at least three fish.

Netizens were amused by the video. They agreed that Thailand is abundant with resources and that the proverb “There’s fish in the water, there’s rice in the field,” was proven true.
